In 1919 began the production of the model with a closed metal body, and the following year conservative in terms of appearance of their products, the brothers were allowed to put windshields with a slight tilt back on all cars. These were the years when the company reached the peak of its success, finishing second in the United States in terms of production.
In 1920, the brothers died: John in January of pneumonia, and Horace in December from cirrhosis of the liver.
The names of the Dodge brothers were immortalized in the “Automotive Hall of Fame” in Detroit.
Now the American manufacturer decided to recall the founders with this great advertising for Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger.
