6. The Orbitron

This is another cool car which was built by Ed Roth back in 1964, a craftsman who also invented the famous Hot Rod character Rat Fink. The Orbitron had a 1956 Chevy V8 engine under its hood. The body of the car was made using fiberglass backed up by broad chrome on the frame whereas the cockpit was placed in the back, encased in a large glass bubble. This car is considered to be the embodiment of the upcoming drag racing.
