Drifting competitions
Traditional drift competitions consist of two sessions -- qualification and finals. A qualifying session is often made on the day before the finals. Finals contestants are divided into pairs to participate in two competitions (in the first stage a car runs over the other, while in the second stage – it is vice versa), where one contestant of each pair is out. Example: if you participate in the final sixteen players, eight of them will drop and eight will continue to compete, then from eight four contestants are eliminated and so remain four, until the other two stay and in the end a clear winner is declared.
The competitions are usually started with a qualification. Here the best 16 drivers usually have to qualify with good heat races for the final. In these runs, the drivers in the vehicles usually drive individually. The routes are often only a few hundred meters long, and mostly curvy sections of the right tracks.
