Today, around the world there are plenty of amateur competitions. A professional series are held in the U.S.A.(Formula Drift) , Europe (IDS) , Australia and of course, the home of drifting in Japan. The most famous is the Japanese racing series D1 Grand Prix. Since 2010, drift was recognized as an official automotive sport racing in Russia too.
