SP Engineering was founded some 18 years ago in 1996 and it started with just three employees plus the owner. It had a space of 4 800 square feet (which is quiet a descent start for the new proprietor), which compared with other bigger and more established tuning shops was not something special. But soon after the beginning, SP started to build a reputation for their work and this attracted the attention of many magazine like the IT, so the things started to roll in the right direction. With the growth of the reputation, so did its client base and soon after the company was relocated to a much larger 13 000 square feet building that has five elevators, an in -- house dyno and big office space and as well as large warehouse. Their focus was on the Japanese aftermarket industry, working on the whole range of Japanese cars, starting from Honda Civics to Toyota Supras and Nissan Skylines. Later on they have branched out into the European and exotic car markets that included cars like BMW, Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini etc. They have a personal builds that are ranging from 1 000 HP 2 JZ -- powered FD RX -- 7 to multiple R 33, R 34, and R 35s. So it is clear that they have build up their credit amongst their clients from all over the world.
