1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham

The Cadillac Eldorado Brougham was designed in 1954 as a dream-car for demonstration on the General Motors Motorama in 1955. Initially Brougham was a concept car, and its purpose was to determine the reaction of the public on the particular style of interior decoration of the body or for the subsequent incorporation of these elements into the design of future GM vehicles.

Among the outstanding technical features embodied in the Eldorado Brougham was first applied, the X-shaped tubular frame, pneumatic suspension system and four twin headlights. The air spring system, first installed on the vehicle, provided independent control of the suspension of each of the four wheels. Air was fed through the leveling valve system so that the vehicle is in a horizontal state irrespective of the load distribution, or road conditions.

Luxury Salon Cadillac Eldorado Brougham offered 45 choices of color choices and finishes. Special interior heating system controlled individually with each of the four seats. The heat saved in the car air conditioner installed. All parts of the car were designed and constructed with one purpose -- to create maximum convenience, comfort and safety of the driver and passengers. And it succeeded, in 1957 was created the most beautiful car that can only be created at this time.
