1957 Jaguar XKSS Roadster

The Jaguar XKSS is a racing version of the D-Type, which won in Le Mans race in 1955, 1956 and 1957. The Jaguar XKSS Roadster was issued in 1957. Machines came equipped with row “six” in volume of 3.4 liters and output of 250 hp. A total of 25 specimens were built, but during a fire in the same year, nine of them were burned, so only 16 cars saw the light of the day.

In 2016 the company decided to revive the Jaguar XKSS. The cars will be built by hand and in full compliance with specifications of the 1957. Deliveries to customers will start in early 2017. The Preliminary cost is more than one million pounds. The technical data of the recreated cars will be at 100% match with the unusual 1957 XKSS model. This new old model will be identical to the original and in the same way as it will be collected by hand.
