1961 Ferrari 250 GT California
In the history of the film industry you will probably not find a car that would have caused so much sorrow among motorists than the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California, which was used during the filming of the 1986 movie Day Off by Ferris Bueller. This car was so expensive at that time (about 350,000 dollars), that it was used only for the filming of scenes where it stood on the site. All other scenes were filmed with its replicas. Subsequently, the car was sold for 10 million dollars.
