1957-1965 Jeep FC-150

There are few pickup trucks that are cute as the Jeep FC-150. This truck was built on the same short wheelbase like the Jeep CJ-5 with 4 cylinders. How? They just placed the cab over the engine.

Such idea of a cab-over-engine design is logical because you can package a pickup truck using a much shorter chassis. Its proportions made the Jeep FC-150 not only very maneuverable, but also scary to drive at higher speeds. This trucklet had only 70 hp, limited aerodynamically and mechanically at a speed of about 65 mph. What’s more important, with such fantastic visibility, the FC-150 was great fun to slip into four wheel drive and drive off pavement road into the countryside.
