These Are The 51 MOST AWESOME Trucks You Have Ever Seen! WOW!

1942-1959 Napco Chevy and GMC Trucks

Back in the ‘50s, Chevrolet and GMC didn’t offer their own in-house-designed pickup trucks with four wheel drive. However, the company Dodge had been producing its 4WD trucks ever since the ‘40s. This is why the engineering and fabrication company Napco, based in Minnesota, started producing conversion kits which could transform Chevrolet and GMC trucks into trucks with four wheel drive.

By 1957, both of these companies were installing Napco Power-Pak 4WD conversion kits directly on their assembly lines. Once the Chevrolet and GMS began producing their own pickup trucks with four wheel drive in the ‘60s, the Napco conversion kits were no longer needed.

Today, these Napco converted trucks are very rare and desirable. The 1959 Chevy 3100 that you see on the picture below was sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction in 2008 for an amazing price of 72,600 dollars.
