1986-1993 Lamborghini LM002

It is not the first time that Lamborghini has ventured into making a four-door SUV. The Lamborghini LM002 was a direct descendent of the 1977 Cheetah—and represented an effort of Lamborghini to secure a military contract, although the leather-lined LM002 was very different from the Cheetah prototype. Instead of a rear-mounted V8 engine, the truck had a potent 450 hp V12 from the Lamborghini Countach mounted between the front fenders and matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. But since the vehicle had a weight of almost 6000 pounds, it could accelerate to 60 mph in about 8 seconds. The $125,000 worth LM002 had a real four wheel drive system with a dedicated low range and limited-slip differentials in each axle. Only less 400 samples were built.
